  • What's in a name ?

The word Epicurean comes from the Greek philosopher Epicurus (341 BC - 270 BC)

In it’s original sense, Epicurean means :
    - seeking a life of happiness and peace
    - achieved through simple pleasures, friendship, and freedom from fear
    - focus on inner peace

Naming the villa "Epicurean" reflects the desire to create a retreat where guests can embrace these values, finding joy in simple comforts, meaningful connections, and a tranquil environment that fosters relaxation and contentment.
